Have you seen the "As Seen on TV" ad for the cat claw covers? I saw it for the first time this morning while watching CNN headline news. ((Not my favorite news station,~~Robin & Co gets on my nerves at times~~ but it's the only one we get in English. Well there is DW from Germany that alternates an English/German broadcast that is really interesting, but I digress...))
Back to the claw commercial...
I kept waiting for the Energizer bunny to march across the screen "Still Going...." But for $19.99 +S&H you can get a three month supply of plastic caps (claw shaped) to attach to your cat's claws.
You will never have to worry about your cat clawing the furniture or your children. (okay, that's a nice feature) They come with a tube of glue and show a cat sitting calmly while the adult attaches them. (yeah, like that is realistic!)
They are veterinarian approved, incase you were wondering.
Knowing how cats like to lick and clean themselves, how long do you think before there is a lawsuit when someone's "Fluffy" chokes on one and dies????

Sounds like something Mimi would have had. Though I'm not sure how she would have ever gotten Mits and Mots to wear them.

ReplyDeleteActually she did have a cat named Skoshi that she bought little red boots for...took quite a while to get all four in place, and two minutes for Skoshi to shake them off. Of course, Mimi was not too pleased as Pipi and the rest of us sat there finding great amusement in the whole scene!
